GetPersonalityTest

Free 16 Types Compatibility Calculator

Paste your 16 Types result link and someone else's to see how your four-letter codes compare, trait by trait.

This isn't a new test. It reuses the code you and the other person already got from our 16 Types Test, no extra questions to answer.

Neither of you needs an account. Both results stay encoded in the links themselves, nothing gets uploaded to a server.

What This Tool Does

You paste two 16 Types result links, yours and someone else's. We decode both four-letter codes in your browser and compare them dichotomy by dichotomy.

The report shows how many of the four traits you share, plus a plain-language note on what that overlap or difference tends to look like.

How It Works

Take the 16 Types Test yourself first if you haven't already, then ask the other person to share their result link too.

Paste both links into the fields below and get your compatibility report instantly, no waiting and no email required.

What Your Compatibility Report Includes

A side-by-side breakdown of all four dichotomies: Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Perceiving.

You'll see a simple overlap count, from 0 to 4 shared traits, and a short note on what that pattern tends to look like between two people.

Our Approach, Not a Scientific Study

This calculator applies our own editorial rules for comparing two 4-letter codes. It isn't based on any published compatibility study, and it doesn't copy any other site's matching formula.

Shared traits can make two people click faster, and differences can balance each other out. Neither pattern guarantees how a real relationship plays out.

Treat your report as a conversation starter, not a verdict. Read the full methodology

FAQ

Do I need to retake a test to use this?

No. Paste the result link you already have from the 16 Types Test, along with the other person's link.

Is this based on real compatibility research?

No. The matching rules are our own editorial interpretation of shared versus different traits, not a peer-reviewed compatibility study.

Does a higher overlap score mean we're a better match?

Not necessarily. More shared traits can mean an easier rapport, but plenty of strong relationships pair very different types.

Is my data or the other person's data stored anywhere?

No. Both results are decoded entirely in your browser from the links themselves, nothing is uploaded or saved on a server.

Can I compare Big Five results this way?

Not yet. This calculator currently supports 16 Types results only.

What if my link doesn't work?

Make sure you copied the entire link, including the "r=" part at the end. A partial link can't be decoded.
